Vigdis oil and gas field is located in the Tampan area of the North Sea, at a depth of 280m. The field was first discovered in 1986 and production commenced in 1997.

There is an estimated 390 million barrels of crude oil in recoverable reserves. The Vigdis East Field has 25 million barrels of recoverable oil and is being developed further.

Owners are Equinor, Petoro, ExxonMobil E&P Norway, Idemitsu Petroleum Norge, Total E&P Norge and RWE Dea Norge.
